Ingenious readers found clever ways to smuggle the book into the United States and England. Today, it is notoriously difficult to find a well-preserved copy in its original binding.

Condition:publishers blue paper wrappers, soiling to wrappers, paper loss to joints and spine edges as usual, vertical creasing to spine, title along spine still very much legible, tear along the outer folding edges of the covers, all pages are clean with no markings, overall in Very Good condition
