The editor, Walter Yeeling Evans-Wentz (1878 1965) was an American anthropologist who was a pioneer in the study of Tibetan Buddhism, and was perhaps best known for his English translation of “The Tibetan Book of the Dead” first published in 1927. This particular collection came from the personal collection of well known late Zen teacher Yvonne Rand.

Condition: Original gilt-decorated green cloth boards, all pages are clean with no markings, this book contains the rare dust jacket which often evades these edition, dust jacket does have some tears and is now preserved in a Mylar covering, the book itself is very well preserved, Very Good+ condition.
