Series of twelvehardbound volumesof the scarce monthly occult journal The Word Magazine. The journal was originally published in wrappers; hardbound copies rarely appear on the market. Each publicationcontains contributions from numerous eminent writers and an editorial by Harold Percival, founder of The Word Foundation.

“From 1904 to 1917, Percival published a monthly magazine, The Word, that had a worldwide circulation. Many eminent writers of the day contributed to it, and all the issues contained an article by Percival as well. These editorials were featured in each of 156 issues and earned him a place in Whos Who in America.

Condition:Publishers red cloth boards, gilt title and geometric design to spines and covers, title along spine have mostly faded to black on each volume, each volume with institutional stamp to front free end paper, all pages on each volume remain clean with the exception of the stamps, spine edges worn, bindings firm, overall the books have general shelf ware common books of this time period, but overall the set ranges from Good to Very Good condition
