The book was first published in French in 1889, and an English translation (which had nothing to do with Waite) followed in 1892. The first Waite edition was published in 1910 and reissued a few times, including this 1958 Edition. The present listing is the First Issue of theArcanum Books 1958 edition, with the $6.50 price on the dust jacket. (later reprints were bound in creamboards, lack the gold spine, and issued with $8.50 price tag on jacket)

Condition:Publishers yellow boards, decorated gilt spine, unclipped dust jacket is present and protected in mylar, jacket with minimal chipping along spine slight fading, the book has only faint fading along the spine, small stamp to title page and pastedown, otherwise pages are clean, binding is tight, overall in Very Good condition
