Woodroffe, who isalsoknown under his pseudonym Arthur Avalon, was a leading jurist who devoted much of his free time to the study of Sanskrit and Hindu religion, in particular tantrism, and was largely responsible for its introduction to the English speaking West.

Condition: Publishers red boards with title to front board and spine, spine ends are bumped, original price to flyleaf, dust jacket is very good condition with only minor creasing and small chip to upper spine, overall a very bright clean copy in Very Good condition.
