1898 George Redway First Edition

Very rare first edition. At the time of this post i see no other Redway First Editons currently listed for sale, this copy being the more sought after Redway edition. Original black buckram boards, beveled edges with silver title and author’s name to spine and upper board.

The book has some fading along the edges of the boards, corners are slightly bumped. Book plate nicely laid on interior front board. No other markings, all pages are clean, pages very lightly toned, binding is tight. Great example of this very rare first edition. Almost never found in this condition.

Overall Very Good+ condition.

Note: first 5 pages (title page and contents are of shorter length than the subsequent pages. This is not a fault in the book, simply how these pages were originally bound in.
