This is the best and preferred edition, the size of this book was significantly larger than the first two editions (measuring 13″ in height and 10″ lenght). The illustrations were also revised and completely redrawn by Elizabeth W. Preston, in close association with Mr. Jinarajadasa who also wrote the new introduction to the work. Occult Chemistry is an unusual work by Besant and Leadbeater in which they describe and co-relate the structure of chemical elements based on their own clairvoyant investigations. From the publisher: “This work contains a record of clairvoyant investigations into the structure of matter…The two investigators, Annie Besant and C. W. Leadbeater, were trained clairvoyants and well equipped to check and supplement each other’s work.” The book is quite large and perhaps the reason most collectors prefer this edition.Numerous black and white diagrams with illustrations and plates throughout.

Condition: Green publishers cloth with gilt title to spine and front board, the corners and spine edges are bumped, the top and bottom of the spine have some damage but nothing that compromises the integrity of the book (i have taken pictures) all pages remain clean with no markings, binding is tight, overall Very Good condition

Condition: Original grey boards, title stamped to front and spine, the tissue guards that protect the illustrations are browned, bookplate to paste down, all pages are clean with no markings, a bright copy in Very Good condition
