My Occult Diary by Cornelius Tabori

Publication: 1951 Rider & Co. First Edition

“Cornelius Tabori was a crime reporter, journalist, and author with a deep interest in the occult and psychical research. For nearly 40 years, he maintained a diary in which he documented his encounters with various occult phenomena. While his writings primarily focused on the use of occult methods in crime detection, he had a broader interest in the subject. Tabori attended sances with well-known mediums, participated in psychic experiments, and investigated poltergeist activity, among other pursuits. Tragically, he perished in Auschwitz in 1944. Remarkably, his diaries survived and were later edited and translated by his son, Paul Tabori, who, like his father, was also a writer interested in psychical research.”
