It explores the deeper spiritual meanings found in the Christian Scriptures and traces their origins back to ancient Gnosis. The text argues that the true message of these Scriptures is the inherent divine nature of humanity, represented by the indwelling Christos principles. It suggests that recognizing this divine aspect of Man should be the foundation of the Religion of the Future.

William Kingsland (1855 – 1936) was an English engineer & scientist, a follower of the teachings of H.P. Blavatsky and for a time president of the Blavatsky Lodge of the Theosophical Society in London.
