This translation is accompanied by an excellent introduction by Dr. McKeon, which offers a valuable analysis of Ciceros philosophy, personality, and contributions. Additionally, there are extensive explanatory notes at the end of each book.

Condition: publishers blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine, and spine ends damaged; this was my personal copy, and if I remember correctly, I may have marked it with a few very light pencil brackets. However, I couldn’t find any markings upon inspection. Please don’t scorn me if you happen to find a few easily erasable annotations. Overall, the book is in lovely condition and rated as very good.
