A comprehensive collection, underpinned by superb presentation and strictly Uncirculated quality, this release gives you the chance to secure every standard Australian $20banknotetype!
The $20 was one of Australias first decimal issues, being the nations highest denomination when decimalisation took place in February 1966. Charting the history of the $20 from decimalisation to the current day, this set is headlined by the extremely scarce paper 1966-72 $20 Commonwealth of Australia banner type, as well as its successor, the paper 1974-94 Australia $20. The first $20 polymer design type is also included, plus the Next Generation $20.
In part due to the high face-value, with the $20 too valuable to set aside as a memento, all four notes are scarce in Uncirculated condition as seen here. Preserving that flawless quality for the long-term, each 4-note collection is set in a high-quality hardback portfolio. An appropriate standard of presentation for such a prestigious collection, each portfolio also features the history of the $20 denomination.
With the high denomination $20 seldom set aside at the time of issue, and therefore naturally scarce in Uncirculated quality, it has been very difficult to create this set. Limited stock available act now!
