Originally published as a beautifully illustrated book by the late Raymond Briggs CBE in 1978, The Snowman was adapted into an animated film in 1982 and has aired at Christmastime every year since. Just as watching or reading The Snowman has become an annual tradition for millions of families across the world, our heartwarming series of Snowman coins has become something of a Royal Mint tradition with a new edition released every year since 2018.
