Condition:Origina maroon boards, elaborate gilt decorated spine, floral end papers cloth along the spine with fading but the gilt is still bright, the outer borders of each volume darkened, both volumes with book plates, portrait of Vol 1 with dampstaining which seeps slightly onto the title page, otherwise pages of both volumes are clean of any marking, overall still in Very Good minus conditiondespite the flaws
